Style: Indicated Aged Tawny

Deep red orange with a mature nose of spirit and dried fruit. Sweet with full concentration of raisins and nuts; less fresh fruit and more spice flavors than a typical 20 year old, but remains balanced. The maturity is due to aging this wine in the Douro Valley instead of downriver in Vila Nova de Gaia, a by-product of cask aging in the warm summers. Smooth but shorter finish than expected.
